Breeze from Cannes

Just like the breeze, c'est la rentrée!

I'm slowly picking my pace to get back to my proper eat-sleep-work-repeat schedules. It ain't easy when it seems like every other friend, or sister-in-law visits you on your weekends #goodbyesleep. After a week of 36-37º, I was dreaming of my quick drop-by Cannes during my holidays. Some hot sand prickling under my feet now would do so much mental/physical healing.

Cannes was really a quick dropby. It was the last hopping city before reaching Nice. We were already driving for a couple of hours and decided that a little break, walking around another beautiful city would wake all of us up. Flashy cars, shop-till-you-drop boutique displays along every inch of the road, those definitely brighten our spirits a little. Ideally, it would have been fun to find a restaurant and people watch, while bitch-gossip-guessing who/which rich and famous people they were. But we were partly racing with the sunset to get to our next AirBnb, so no expensive Spritz on the terasse ;)

Meanwhile, I never thought I would crave so much for winter to come. Zero ideas on how to dress up for this hot temperature without looking like a wringing-wet kitty! Would someone deliver some Haagen Dazs to my door step please? My neighbourhood supermarket no longer stocks up on Haagen Dazs' Caramel Biscuits and Cream. What a crime seriously! :(
