Parisienne life

It's been almost a month since my last update. Working times flies so quickly, and i am exhausted. I wonder if my loyal readers had been excited for more of my random stories. Speaking of which, I am so touched by the number of comments on my previous post of my apartment. It's heartwarming to know that readers like you are excited on behalf of me!

Almost a month of living with roommates, it's quite challenging to keep in tact with the new house rules. Specific hours for using the washing machine had queues in fact. So i can't wash my clothes when ever I want. Now it seems like I may be having some fridge wars. As the person who cooks the most complicated food in the house, I buy quite a lot of groceries for myself. This morning i woke up to my compartment being chunked with a huge pinky plastic bag with lots of things inside. (wtf) Frankly speaking I do kinda feel uncomfortable and invaded. I suppose there's a few stuffs that have been way overdue, since one of my roommates found some canned food where the expirary year was in 2005! Plus i seriously think that my fridge may be kinda intoxicated. ._.

Enough of my life rants, my one and only girlfriend in Paris will be leaving me this weekend. By next weekend, I'd be truly alone. I haven't had the chance any potential girlfriends. Funnily, I have had suggestions from some people to get a boyfriend, but then my chance for finding my other half seems pretty much an even more impossible task for the moment.

One of my reasons for being away was that I lacked eventful photos for my planned new entry. While on the other hand, I've had lots of parties and drinking during my first few weeks. But only till last weekend, I managed to borrow my dad's Galaxy Camera. Oh yeah- one of the downsides to living apart from my family. Now I'd have another chance to go hunting for a great compact camera!

As you can see, I'm dressed from head to toe in Zara. I didn't even notice it myself. I just find Zara clothing's in the more affordable range for it's quality. Thought unfortunately, this blazer of mine was torn after a crazy night of pushing and pulling in a bar (hard) I'm not as good as my mum, I've managed to sew it back! (yes) So it's wearable now! Then Clementine has never been to Angelina, so i couldn't resist not bringing her there for quick pastry and their signature cool chocolate drink for the heat that day! Followed by a quick walk around les jardins de tuileries. It was a wonderful day for photo shooting and experimenting my amateur Outfit of the day shots. But i still can't stand my awkwardness. So finally, when we were almost out of Louvre, and there were lesser people, I asked Clementine to be my photographer!

I think I've never walked this much in my life over the past 3 weeks. Maybe because I have my car on hand. In Paris, since I have not subscribed to their public transport concession fares, I'm saving up on my metro tickets. Its one tiny way to save up on my expenses. So when I need to go somewhere within 2/3 metro stops, I'd walk instead. Speaking of which, everything is expensive in Paris, except maybe some japanese / chinese groceries. I can't believe that my dosage of weekly Haagen Dazs drops to 1 tub of ice cream for 3 weeks instead of one. Mainly, because I don't have time to eat! And even if it as 1 to 2 euros more expensive than the price I usually pay, I'd still buy it. Now its my forth week in Paris, I'm seriously craving for it, since I finished it last week, THIS LITTLE PINT OF MY ICE CREAM CAN'T BE FOUND! (wtf)

Moving up to the capital of the country is so buzzy. I've been so busy with work and after works and all those drinking! The social life that I've lost over the past 5 years. Well, it all starts up now and i'm super exhausted!
