Dasong Ceramics
I spent a week there with some friends. And one of my best activity was signing up for a Ceramic Class. While we travelled in a group, I had planned some solo activities since not everyone were interested in the same stuffs.
An invitation to Dubai
Without being able to go anywhere, I looked back at some of my travel photos. I have a lot of travel stories to share 😆, the most interesting one on my list goes to my invitation to Dubai… (Super lengthy post ahead!)
Hiking Fushimi in Kimonos
Whenever I thought of Japan, I always wonder when I will get the chance to walk through the thousand Tori gates. Yet never have I thought that I would walk through them while wearing a kimono…
Gion District
We checked-in to our hotel at Mimaru Apartment Hotel, but we were too early. So we left our luggages there and went out to explore. Except the lazy ass in me, didn’t do my research properly 😅
Osaka
4 days 3 nights seemed like a lot of time, but in reality it wasn’t. Mostly because it rained. We got lazy much and tried to hide indoors as much as possible when it rained heavily. But because it was Golden week, everywhere was so crowded! Like everyone, we purchased an extra transparent umbrella and roam the city.
Above Bassin D'Arcachon
My brother got his Flying License (≧∀≦ゞ I've tried flying with my brother when he was still learning. His instructor is a cool old man. When I flew with them, he made my brother do a 60º turn that left me partially floating in mid-air. In a way, it was rather scary for my first-time in such a small plane….
Parc de Sceaux
Paula caught me in Paris during it's best months of the year where almost every corner was blooming in colours. Despite being in the city of lights for 5 years, I have never been to Parc de Sceaux. Neither have I heard of this amazing garden. While I didn't think that I'd leave Paris this year, I definitely made the right choice to spend a brunch session enjoying hanami.
24hours in Budapest
3000 years later, I finally got this summer story published! Covered 8 places (from the Parliament House to hiking up the Citadella) in one day under the warm summer heat. Finding one of my best foie gras so far was very much rewarding too!
Winter Wonderland
It was a pleasant surprise to wake up to a white wonderland Paris. It was probably some 6-10cm of snowfall throughout the night for the snow to last a couple of days. I was out on my way to meet someone for a project, and found out that bus services were cancelled for the day.
Budapest by Night
Previously, I had my biggest Airbnb experience. This round, was a chic and cozy apartment. It has a huge lounging space. We were 5, so one of the sofa's was converted into a bed. There was another bedroom with 2 beds. Best part was, this apartment was equipped with fans! Halleluja!
Schonbrunn Palace
Fresh new day after a comfty rest in fluffy beds, we left for the Schönbrunn Palace early. Since we were told that it was extremely difficult to find parking, which turned out fine in the end. There were indeed a lot of people. Lots of touring busses, a huge long queue to get the tickets— which we ended up not buying the Palace tour ticket.
Highway to Vienna
Aloha! I know I've always been rewinding time, and this time round, no excuses. 3 weeks in Singapore, I have hoped to achieve some stuffs. Once again, I've thought too highly of myself!
