Pink in Prague
Time flies so amazingly quickly that I hadn't even realize that its been a month since my Eastern Europe holiday! So, as my usual attitude, this trip was quite impromptu, I didn't really plan anything besides buying a two way air ticket to Prague, booked various airbnb's— and made an utterly stupid mistake on booking a hotel on the wrong date #wtfiswrongwithmyeyes
Fast forward a month, d day is here to fly off to Eastern Europe for a week. I went with my family and my bestie joined us later on the first night. My dad rented a car— the best way for us to travel between Prague, Vienna and Budapest, which was really affordable (so check that out, if you're interested or wait for my travel updates!)
Prague hasn't been really good to me.
I arrived with a slightly gloomy forecast, a temperature drop to 15-18degrees and lots of drizzle-wetness! I didn't really know how to dress for the occassion, all I know was "it's gotta be chic". I was glad that I brought a blazer, it helped with the chilly winds.
While waiting for Jean's arrival in the evening, we went around food hopping and found this gorgeous pink building. I couldn't just stand there without any pretty shots. I was quite amazed by Prague's architect (do colors considered to be part of the architect?), the buildings are so colorful! I thought I was on a land-version of Venice's Burano. The cutest parts are that they alternate colors, from pink to yellow, to green and blue. It feels so happy!
I was having a huge headache on what bag to carry, I made the best choice to bring out the Pochette Metis. It's like a classic piece that fits every outfit; split into 3 pockets, it's light and just the right space to fit my wallet, battery charger, sunglasses, lipstick and other random stuffs like postcards, keys, earphones. On another hand, my DSLR. I prefer not bring a huge bag and dump everything in. It makes the bag super heavy on the shoulder. So I keep the camera on my hand and I can shoot whenever I want!
Shoe wise, was another tough choice. Being limited to only 1 cabin baggage, I decided to bring flats. These days, I feel like I'm too old for heels— the strain is too much on my legs #oldageisreal This pair of Tods are really comfty, they have thicker sole that's lightly cushioned, great for walking the whole day.
