Hippodrome

Probably over 10 years have passed since I last stepped into a Hippodrome. My memory of it over the past few years, the hippodrome was a pretty old one. There were even ponies, for kids to ride. The place wasn't exactly clean with those ponies littering around (huh) So my overall impression of the hippodrome was smelly, dirty and messy. Now 10 years later, the hippodrome had been completed renovated. Over 2 million euros was spent (if I wasn't wrong) and was newly inaugurated in 2013. I was shocked when I walked it. Smell of the summer heat, lots of people, solid walk ways instead of soil. Everything was clean and perfectly new. Hippodrome is all about horse racing and betting. I didn't participate in that. I merely went as there was an event with dad's company. I thought I should give the place a new chance! Isabelle love horses, so why not. Unfortunately, Letty was really sick (hard) The horses were strong, tall and beautifully groomed. I like the black horse no. 3 best. I don't know anything about horse though, just a feeling. Horse no.3 came in number 3 in the second race. There was another gold/tan beautiful horse, but unfortunately, he/she (i forgot) came in among the last three.

Besides that, how are the photos? Photos marked with an star was taken by Isabelle's DSLR, while the rest was taken with my Galaxy Camera. I was lazy and didn't want to bring my Canon along. It was a good time to explore the galaxy camera. I gotta say that the x21 optical zoom is pretty good. Didn't expect that I'd be able to capture the departing line of the race!
