Sweet tooth

I can't deny that I've been dying to post these photos. It's my job now to make you feel really hungry, because I am very hungry now. But eumm- these are almost 2 months old. I was waiting for the right time.. so yeah. Previously I blogged about Ladurée, now it's Angelina. There's a number of famous patisserie shops in Paris that I have yet to discover. Settling down in Angelina with 8 peeps without booking was quite the challenge, unfortunately we have to split into 2 tables of 4. No insult intended, but luckily I fall into the table that enjoys dessert. While waiting for the tables to be set and my Canon in hand, I explored shamelessly at the entrance, snapping photos as if I'm some kinda official reporter. But hey, that's how blogger's behave. Angelina sells almost everything sweet ( can't remember all of them ), from jams to chocolate bars, or those tiny exquisite chocolate pieces to their specialty African chocolate drink. Unfortunately, they are a bit too expensive for a poor student like me.

When we settled down and our pastries were served, once again, we shameless took photos of every angle of our delicious little pies. Probably more than 20 minutes later, neighbouring tables started staring and looking at us like "Why are asians always the same? Is it really necessary to take photos? Isn't one photo enough? Can't they eat already?" Well, to be precise, all of us exchange our plates just to take photos with our own camera! Since 4 of us were doing it so openly, so for once, I felt less bothered being such a typical asian. :) Plus, unlike the rest of my friends, I'M A BLOGGER :D I take pride in taking nice photos to share. ;)

The pastries were really good. I can't wait to fly there again to have that Millefeuille. It's the best of the best. Somehow high end patissier's cream are so light yet so rich. Their specialty African hot chocolate is really thick and savoury. Overall I'd rate them 9/10 ( because full marks meant no need for improvement ). Eating in is a lot more pricey than taking away. Our 4 person table billed over 60 euros with each a pastry and a drink. But I guess, once a while, it's alright ;)

p.s. hmmm I don't get why aren't any photo appearing on bloglovin's dashboard, anyone knows why?
