La Petite Nice
Unfortunately, I don't look like I'm tanned at all–
My week back home, the weather, luckily– didn't rain on me; but the temperature was low, 20-24° during the first few days. And the only day that had great sunshine was my last friday where the temperature shot up to 34°. That's a huge difference when you're thinking about jumping into the sea and the chilly ice water.
First few days of the holidays at home, I was rocking my hammock (gosh it was cold outside too), catching up The Flash (Barry is such a cutie), completely redesigned my new online space and reading up books. Like real printed hard copy books. It's been ages since I read something, before I left my holidays I ordered 3 books {The Emperor's Blades / The Providence of Fire by Brian Staveley and The Thousand Names by Django Wexler} and sent it to my parent's place in advance. I'm currently reading The Emperor's Blades and it's so eggciting! I haven't felt such excitement for sometime now. Wish I had more time to completely submerged myself into it. I also took the opportunity on some DIY projects since mom could help me with her nifty sewing skills *hints— DIY clutch bag coming soon*
And Friday comes, great sunshine, lovely temperature that totally screams "Time to hit the sea". I got Isabelle driving to my place and we drove off to Dune de Pyla — La Petite Nice. It used to be one of the beaches that I always go when I was a kid, probably some 10 years ago. We got there quite late. But still had at least 4hours of good sun tanning. Dips into the sea (even though I can't swim), swaying with the waves— the waves were quite calm. Yet, true enough, it wasn't hot like I was sweating in a sauna. I just wanted a sign of holiday which I guess it didn't work, ha.
We waited and waited— for almost everyone to leave to take photos. Of course, we ended the tanning session with a wonderful dinner at Club Plage Periere. Photo credits to Isabelle's feet and taking photos of me :)
