Roadtrip to Andorra

It was in fact another excuse for shopping...

When my little cousin was in town with her boyfriend, my mom took the chance to go on a 2 day roadtrip along the mountains for fresh air and change of scenery, where in reality, it's basically for us shoppaholics. But I gotta agree, it did some good! Again, I didn't get tan as much as I wanted. But it was at least something when you have great hauls from Zara (my one true love). The car ride took somewhat 6hours. We departed early in the morning, watched the sun rise through tinted windows with crazy lame jokes. When fluffy clouds were visible within our range, we stopped at a rest point along weavy roads to say hello to the cows and horses. Unfortunately, our noses were greeted with cow dungs instead of promised fresh air, and lots of flies...

Thank you to the boyfriend for the family photo!

Here, you can spot the instincts of those who clearly have been living in France for too long. The need of sunnies is everywhere whenever there's great sunshine! It's my random observation after living so long on french soil. Almost everyone have a pair of Rayban. It's even true-er than anything else in Paris, Parisians always have their favorite pair of sunnies in their bags no matter if it rains or shines, including myself. Because I know that the moment I decide to leave my shades at home, the weather would be shine like crazy.

Roadtrip to Andorra

Andorra is a country, a tiny little country that's tax free.

There's two types of visitors. 1–  Those who come here just to pump petrol because it's way cheaper compared to France, or buy lots of cigarettes and alcohols. 2– They visit in winter for their ski stations— which I visited decade ago! And then there's a 3rd kind— me, when I was a kid, I remembered coming here because this was where I could find Oreos! France didn't have them imported a decade ago.

It's rather refreshing to visit this place in summer. There's a lot lesser people. It makes me wonder about the town folk, like what do they do here? I don't think I saw a movie theatre here, but at least there's McDonalds for the teens?
