An invitation to Dubai
Without being able to go anywhere, I looked back at some of my travel photos. I have a lot of travel stories to share 😆, the most interesting one on my list goes to my invitation to Dubai… (Super lengthy post ahead!)
#stayhome
What a time to be alive these days… with so many things happening around the world, it’s kinda scary. So many jobs potentially lost with countries and cities shutting down 😩How would I know that the second year back in Singapore started out like this. Can we please just reboot 2020 already?
Farewell
I’ve been trying to come to terms with some sort of farewell. A goodbye to my familiar environment, my used-to coffee places, my preferred supermarkets, my favourite bakery. It wasn’t exactly planned. At first leaving Paris seemed like a good move financially. A break from the city…
Countryside life
Life has been slow by the country side. I can't even get to the super mart as swiftly as before as tourists flock the roads. Lots of outsiders are coming in to my town to enjoy fine sand and chill waters. I took some time to join free activities by the beach too despite my lack of skills in the water.
See you, Paris!
I managed to finally picnic by the Seine! It was actually my first time. Thank Heavens for being so nice to me with the perfect chill weather. Yup, 5 years in Paris, I've never had a picnic by the Seine. So two lovely friends decided to do a last minute picnic together.
Hello from Singapore
No doubt, the sole existence of being in Singapore is to eat. Unfortunately by my third week at the hospital, I was completely sick of hawker/street food. They no longer taste the same. You can hardly taste the wok hei. The food were uselessly oily, I was sick of them. But not all food were bad.
Checkpoint 101
I almost wanted to say "let's have a commercial break", ha. I just wanted to have a checkpoint 101 on where my life is heading. Major life changes are coming up soon, somehow I can't see where would I be next year, what would I be doing. It's a little scary and exciting at the same time.
