New year, better me!
Yoho, it seems like Twopartsofone had been on haitus since forever even though I’ve been paying my subscriptions on time. As you can tell, I’m trying to be a better version of myself by restarting this whole space.
The shop unfortunately is closed for now. I promise it will be back! I’m still in the midst of re-organising some structure, heck— even my skills too. It’s been way too long since I’ve touched this space, nor picking up a brush, tubes of acrylic. Everything almost feel foreign.
A Recap
Well, from my last post… it was another life then. My hair was long and blonde. Then I had a major dark moment and dyed in blue where everyone found me a little too intimidating (≧ヮ≦) And then on a whim, I accidentally snip my hair short (more like the hairdresser did, without my permission), and it’s been 2 years now. Seems like I’m stuck with being a short blonde…
I’ve moved from an Advertising Agency to a Design agency… So yeah things have been somewhat different. And here’s to a new revamped space, all thanks to Paula— being the adult saying that we should make a bet and post something on our forever blogs as least once a month. We shall see how long this new habit lasts ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡
For sure we have plenty of content to share but I guess blogs are half dying out, if ever you’re here do say Hi!
It’s the first day of year!
I thought that we should be welldressed, why not some glitter since it’s still the festive season. Paula and I decided to fly to Seoul to spend the New Years in Korea. We haven’t been back to the country since 2019 and thought that it would be a good idea. However, we didn’t expect many of the shops were closed on the first day of the year in Seoul. So we just randomly roamed the streets and picked at which ever shop that looked interesting— and open!
— Coffee in Korea
A flat white or latte in Korea could be a hit or miss. I guess it’s mostly due to the fact that most Koreans drink Americanos. However, I do like my coffee white. Pacino Espresso was not bad. It surprisingly has two different “shops” which was directly in front of each other. What originally caught my eye was that super cute little window on the second floor. That was how we found the cafe ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧
Koreans definitely know how to decorate their interiors with all sorts of concept. Here at Pacino, it’s definitely leaning towards the 60/70s style. When we first got there, it was rather empty.. but shortly after we finished our coffee (and photos), it became super full with plenty of locals.
