Spanish Discovery
Spain part two! Attention, this is some serious photo spamming (yes) Spain is filled with a lot reddish buildings. Originally, the plan for this road trip's mainly for the shopping desires (bear) I think it'd be the cheapest place for some awesome shopping time, especially during such summer sales! And after much recommendation from a friend, here I am... Spain! I'd call this a road trip because it's around 4hours away from my house, and I've stayed in the car a lot just to snap photos. I departed on friday morning and came back around dinner time on sunday.
After half day on the road, checking into our hotel "Diagonal Plaza" was the automatic thing to do. I've gotta say that touring in Europe for so many times, that's the only hotel I've ever been to with so many rooms / levels and a lobby of that size. Then right after was the first hunting session in another enormous / endless shopping center that's impossible to cover within the whole trip. My friends had be bugging me to visit Primark, but I didn't get the chance for it. When everyone got tired, we headed to the old town to look for food. Men were attracted by those gigantic pieces of meat hanging on displays, so we're in there for dinner. Ordered they specialty (was that their specialty? (huh) ) beef steak for 4 person, and turn out it was 1kg of meat chopped from those meat. Apparently they only cook the exterior of the meat, then the remaining rawness it's up to you. It tastes pretty good. Even better because I controlled the rawness meat myself :) It's better than in most restaurants when you were crossing fingers that your beef steak won't be overcooked! But it's a little too salty. So I couldn't resist my own temptation to sooth myself over the saltiness and hotness with Haagen Dazs.
The night view of the Basilica is really beautiful. It was already closed when we got there. Thou I somehow don't get how the camera managed to capture such beautiful colors of the sky! I was using both Galaxy Camera and my Canon 60D as well as my S3 for the photos this time. Well as you can see, =3 after another long walk back to hotel, I decided to play with bubble bath and some Lush bombs *_* Couldn't resist not snapping a pic with my S3, which explains that crappy quality.
day two
Waking up to the hotel's breakfast was really hard. The bed is way too comfy, makes me want to change my own bed at home (hard) The hotel's breakfast was a simple buffet / toast / croissants / scramble eggs / bacons / yogurt ... etc etc. Nothing unique, but bad tasting either. Followed by a quick exploration of shops and i found BUNNIES!! *_* they are so cute! there's even kitties too, but unfortunately, the kitties were inside the shop so I couldn't take photos. Thou suddenly seeing bunnies in the middle of this post feels odd (huh) The basilica didn't look as nice during day time thou. Spain has a lot of pretty wooden doors! I love them, even though I would have hoped to pose in front taking OOTD shots - but I'd feel too awkward with so many people around (hard)
That's about it. I'd definitely wanna go back again for more shopping and more tapas! Didn't have enough of them *_* I guess next up is my OOTD shots taken in the mountains where there's no one to peek (gangnam) In fact, there was a teenage boy staring..... Stares.... (hard) (rage)
